Larger, more flexible, more modern - that was the goal of the modernization of our technical training center for training at the GENDORF Chemical Park. The result is a completely new building to offer trainees at the Chemical Park a state-of-the-art and highly functional training facility.
Plenty of space for modern chemical apprentice training
The technical training center covers an area of 2,000 m2 and includes training and office buildings with laboratories as well as a technical hall. The latter, with its spacious installation area, is the heart of the complex: On 850 square meters, training facilities there reproduce a real production operation on a smaller scale. Here, future skilled workers can experience and learn about production processes under real conditions.
Modern equipment and realistic conditions
The 850 m2 pilot plant hall contains state-of-the-art equipment that corresponds to the equipment in their future workplaces. Evaluation and monitoring take place in the specially equipped control room, where six operator stations are used for familiarization with the process control system. Environmentally friendly and energy-efficient. The green roof cools in summer and warms in winter. Thanks to this construction method, the new pilot plant building meets energy efficiency level 55.
